Just saw this on ig and thought I would pass it along. Hope this isn't the case.

And now things are getting fun.
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:06 pm to BostonTiger22
"I will not be the head coach at Alabama."
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:06 pm to BostonTiger22
and when was this quote taken exactly?
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:06 pm to BostonTiger22
It official or final unless he says "HAVE A GREAT DAY!"
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:07 pm to BostonTiger22
Not really quoted accurately, to be fair. They leave out the part about "he's just preparing for syracuse" before putting "what I'm going to do". Changes the tone greatly.

That's not what the quote says
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:08 pm to BostonTiger22
@espncfb is reading a little bit more into that quote than what was actually said.
Actual quote:
quote:
@fsufootball coach Jimbo Fisher says he isn't leaving the Seminoles for the @lsufootball job.
Actual quote:
quote:
I’m not going to talk about any jobs," Fisher said Tuesday. "I love being at Florida State, I plan on being here and I’m just getting ready for Syracuse. That’s the last thing I’m going to say on that
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:08 pm to BostonTiger22
That's taken from his press conference yesterday. He pretty much dodged the question and acted evasive about the whole topic.

Taken out of context. Here's the full quote -
The "no offense to anybody else, that's just what I'm going to do" comment was in reference to the fact that he's not going to speak on the issue again.
He was asked again about the job directly after this, and stated, "I've already commented on that." And then he laughed nervously as he looked around at the reporters.
quote:
I did [see the report] when I walked out of a meeting, had no idea. But here’s the thing: I’m not going to talk about any jobs. I love being at Florida State. I plan on being here and I’m just getting ready for Syracuse. That’s the last thing I’m going to say on that. No offense to anybody or anything else, that’s just what I’m going to do. I love being here.

That's a pretty out of context troll by whatever 19yr old ESPN has managing their IG account.

You don't talk about it during the damn season.
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:15 pm to SportTiger1
I apologize guys for the somewhat misleading title. Just figured I would pass along that ESPN posted about Fisher and the LSU job regardless of whether or not their interpretation is accurate.

Jesus Christ calm down. None of this means anything until the regular season is over
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:17 pm to BostonTiger22
All they did was just post his quote from yesterday.
Posted on 11/16/16 at 3:18 pm to Cs
quote:It's amazing the narratives being portrayed by the media.
Taken out of context.
He may come here, he may not. But it's like why lie and misrepresent things?
