This guy really said the recruiting is the same in Oklahoma as it is at LSU. If you consider blue chip rating, then yes. But that’s the best OU can do. At LSU, we could actually do better if we secure more out of state 5* and 4* players. We could lock up 3-5 5* a year easy. The talent in the state of OK is abysmal and it’s why they have to get most of their players out of state.

“LSU fires coaches who win championships” - what’s the logic here? Winning a championship gives a coach tenure and they can never be fired? That’s how you become OU, Penn State, UT, or the other UT.

I think they are just genuinely shocked at the kind of moves programs in the SEC are willing to make. This is the first bucket of cold water for them as they shift from the Big12 to the SEC. It legit means more.
