Dual Head Coaching Tandem?

Stupid idea i know. But would it be at all possible, each would serve as their respective coordinators on their side of ball expertise, each have equal head coaching titles. Saves cost in hiring two expensive coordinators and an expensive HC.
Example:
Let's hire Dan Mullen and Bo Pelini as our HC's.

wasn't meant to be a funny, just out the box why not. What we pay miles, OC and DC... like over 5 million a year total... Mullen's getting in the 2 plus range, and Bo is getting I think 2 plus range as well. It's certainly affordable financially speaking. Together, these guys could create a legendary powerhouse.

I understand the retardation of the suggestion... but if two men could put aside their egos to accomplish something great that's never been done before, I think the success would know no limits.
