Did Kelly know what was going down and was waiting so that he could hire Rees? As I recall, he tried hard to get him to come to BR initial.

I have no clue, but it seems like it could happen.

I feel like a bunch of crazy shite is about to happen all through football.

I think so unless Grubb is in play.

From what I read, it didn't sound like anybody knew Saban was going to retire.

That’s the truth. Work productivity is going to be shite the next few days for me. I am surprised this site has not crashed yet, lol!

Qb power on 4th and 4 to end the game was puzzling but dude did a good job of figuring out how to use Milroe and make that offense as good as it probably could have been. Something to be said for that

That would undo all the good CBK has done this offseason.

What is wrong with you people Sloan will be the OC if he doesn’t give him the title he will move on and then you loose Underwood.

He will take Rees over Sloan if given the opportunity imo

Y’all simply can’t be happy and have any belief the people in charge know what they are doing. What if we lose underwood, but get Saying?

I’m going to say I doubt it.

That pretty clearly was not the play call. The back went in motion and no one followed which is a read to not run. The snap was wide (again) and Milroe improvised on his own.

Their resumes are really not comparable

I know there’s hard Sloan love here right now because of Jayden and also because he has a commitment from a 17yo kid. But Rees has been a coveted OC at ND and Bama

It was an RPO, either Milroe just choked or the bad snap forced Milroe to just run because the timing of the pass would have been off.

Coveted wouldn’t be a word I would use to describe him

Not according to Saban. He said Tommy felt like it was best to run the QB keeper so they did but they didnt have it blocked.
