And they go waaaaaayyyy back, like Meyer was his position coach at Colorado State back. No wonder the wife is the one leaking info to the press, she's probably pissed too!

Yeah, exactly. This is like pupil turning on teacher...

Who's BP?

belowpar

when espn reported miles to michigan along with the rest of the world, BP said miles was going nowhere, and thus the Living Legend.

he's pretty much 100% accurate with every coaching change prediction. if he doesn't know, he says so. but his "guesses" are usually dead on.

he is the nostradomus of lsu coaching discussions

BilJ, was there a running game coordinator when Monken was in charge of passing and Jimbo was OC?

Meyer is a used car salesman. I actually dislike him, even when a guy I know that knows him says he's a good guy.

Miles is lacking in certain areas, but he seems to be genuine.

Now, it can be argued that he is genuinely lacking, too.

The Florida "IN" is great, but who's our "IN" for Texas? I don't wanna lose that. Is it Miles himself from his days at Okie St.? Cherry picking the Lone Star has been pretty sweet for us.

I don't recall a running game coordinator.

You said that the site didn't specify which sounded kind of ambiguous

Ha. I meant to say, it lists "Passing Game Coordinator" under Monken's title but it doesn't list "Running Game Coordinator" under anyone else.

Gotcha.

I am watching an online motorcycle gang fight on the TV Board. I feel like Chicken is fricking with me. On the day that I try to wrap up my essays, all of this stuff happens.

Wow.

I'm watching Steven Seagal on Jimmy Kimmel. He's crazy.

He was actually mentioned in the thread. Things might not be looking so good for Maximus.

If Crowton was leaving he would have already been gone. You do not hire supporting staff for the offense and then hire an OC. If you are going to hire a new OC you hire him first and then see if he wants to bring anybody in around him. Crowton will be calling the plays at LSU next year.

Scoop, try and catch up. That's what we're debating and it's generally agreed that IF Crowton is gone then we know who the new OC is likely to be and we're okaying these hires with him.

Miles likes to get guys jobs behind the scenes so he doesn't have to fire them. At least that's what we tell ourselves
