It's possible, but I doubt it. O doesn't want to do football 24/7 anymore. He's older and he's got his money. Time for him to relax.

He could end up somewhere someday. But no way he’s going back to Ole Miss. C’mon

Why in the Hell would Orgeron get back into coaching?

Dude is living a great life traveling and partying all over the country shirtless.

No way he wants to "Work" any longer.

Hell, he barely worked his last 2 years at LSU..

Exactly. He showed his true character with his comments after getting fired about “I got my money”

He should send Joe Burrow and those kids thank you cards every year for the rest of his life

I thought Orgeron was such an amazing coach that teams would be lining up to hire him? You mean to tell me the mastermind of the 2019 team has to go back to being a dl coach. I can’t believe it!

Don't think so since Orgeron took his job at USC when he was fired

If O goes anywhere to do football it’ll be in Miami Beach working for Mario as a recruiting advisor pro bono.

Randall Joyner is a rising star in the business. Hoping no one hires him away from Ole Miss anytime soon.

Are you serious? Ed quit working the second LSU beat Clemson in the NC game. He has no intention of ever doing real work again except when he blows through the millions LSU gave him and he has to go back to work.

IIRC he can’t take a job in the SEC for 18 months after he was fired

Incorrect. He couldn’t take a HC job for 18 months. He could of gone to be a position coach the next day if he wanted.

Thats ok. Whatever O once was I believe is no longer.
Coach O is like the Dog that actually gets a hold of the bone the dogs are chasing in a race at the track to catch.
2019 and the money= Bone
No longer has the edge.

Ed told Kiffin not to take the Ole Miss job because what happened to him when he was there. But I think Ed isn't as smart as Kiffin or some of the others. He is only good if both coordinators are very good. That is why things went south when he couldn't find a good replacement. Ed also got lucky with Burrow.

Yep. He isn’t worth a shite. He’s an overrated recruiter frankly. And that was his only strength. He was great with an awesome staff around him that knew had to massage his ego enough to get him to stay out the way.

As soon as those people got what Ed felt was too much credit he couldn’t wait to see them go

Not if he’s sane. O checked out and just quit giving a shite after winning it all. I know being an assistant is different, but recruiting and hitting the road to do it (which he would have to do again as a position coach) is a ton of work. Does anyone think he does that again after getting that payday and hitting the beach?

I could see O being an analyst somewhere so he could be around the game doing less, but I don’t see him coaching again.
