No. Much worse. Kelly is old and continues to run an archaic offense. It would be a poor fit and ultimately a poor hire.

Yes he has one of the highest winning percentages and best records of all active coaches currently. He wins 10 to 11 games every season at Notre Dame with his hands tied academically.

Sure he's 60 but you'll get 8 to 10 years out of the guy. This is infinitely better than missing on your first guy and hire your d-line coach

No. But Fickell does. Johnson was a west coast lifer. Fickell is a Midwest lifer. If you really want to change the trajectory that’s what you do. Hire someone with no ties.

I said it was Brian Kelly the day Orgeron was fired. If I was right, that would be disappointing

There's not an opportunity or enough money in the world to get Brian Kelly out of South Bend. He's going to retire from there.

Kelly’s 2021 offense is dynamic and uptempo… You need to go to YouTube and watch the last 5 weeks of Norte Dame football.

I’ve been extremely impressed.

I've been saying that Kelly is the best football coach in college football not named Saban.

would win a natty at LSU within 3 years. but dont tell the posters on this board unless you want to get shouted down

Brian Kelly may as well be Mark Stoops.

It is and I would laugh because near the beginning of the search I basically said that Brian Kelly seems like a very Woodward hire, but realistically that's a really tough pull that I doubt is happening.

Bruh what?? Lmao. This fan base is legitimately brain dead. He took over a weak ND program and turned them into a yearly playoff contender.

113-39 at ND is basically Mark stoops??

Would it be an elite hire? No. But to call him mark stoops is ridiculous.
