Do you need an overzealous compliance office to say no to coach who called hookers while on Recruiting trips and was stupid enough to use an athletic department phone

A coach who was at a University where the HC and oh by the way the father of the Candidate in question was accused of looking the other way at best or strong arming victims of rape as well as cops to hide the actions of his players.

I’m not here to defend compliance but a reasonable person in authority would at least ask questions I think.

He was penalized based on bylaws/rules in place, all of his punishments have come down on him. Are you advocating we punish people based on your feelings that it was actually a lot worse the people think? Are you one of those guys who gets his feelings hurt pretty easily?

Baylor has absolved Art Briles of his guilt and even had to settle with him out of court, so what does that mean for his son?

Reasonable people have asked questions, have filed lawsuits, have hammered down penalties. Thats how society works. You break rules, you face the punishments for breaking those rules.

Have either Briles or Freeze broke a rule that they haven't been punished for?

Neither has any legal entanglements preventing them from coaching anywhere in the country.

Face it, its 100% PR based. If it had any legal standing, Briles would not be coaching right now and Freeze would be barred from coaching anywhere.

First of all Art Briles dropped a libel suit against Baylor after new allegations and multiple additional lawsuits were filed against Baylor.

To suggest it’s over is just plain wrong.

As for Freeze paying for sex is illegal. Maybe it shouldn’t be but it is.

Do you really think it’s a question that will not be asked in recruits’ living rooms?

My point was it’s not compliance that will wreck Briles or Freeze. It will be the BoS, FKing and Alleva.

Damn dude Freeze has a show cause to be a HC. Yes it’s true it doesn’t apply to OC but he has the scarlet letter on his forehead from the NCAA.

These guys just aren’t clean.

Didnt our head coach assault our outgoing OC? If you are going to claim things are illegal that didn't have charges pressed then that should be fair game in this conversation.
