Do we stand a chance of losing Aranda?

He is a genius. He is young. Others will be calling. I don't want to lose him. What do we have to do to keep this young man?

Besides a genius defensively the guy has head coaching traits written all over him. We are lucky to keep him one more season after this if at all.

Of course we do. No one knows if he even likes it here. No one knows if he wants to be a HC . No one knows who covets him more . I wish he would give interviews so we could get to know him better

I figure he's at LSU one more year tops. I'm for going out and getting an elite head coach but if LSU is going to be stupid and hire someone like coach O, they would be much better off promoting Aranda to head coach in order to keep him. Aranda as head coach, defensive guru paired with a fantastic offensive coordinator makes much more sense than Coach O who brings nothing to the table as far as coaching ability is concerned and absolutely nobody wants him at all. Keep the guy that everyone else wants, not the guy who has to beg to get interviews.

I'd consider hiring him if I was Alleva. Definitely interview him. The guy has a very bright future

Someone posted a link a while back from one of his old GAs. Pretty much said Aranda definitely wants to be a HC and would be awesome at it. Take it FWIW.

He should interview for practice even in the (likely) event that he's not a serious candidate for this job.

He's one of the most promising coaches we've ever had here. I think he should get the job if it comes down to him and O.

O better right now than aranda. He recruits Aranda not a great recruiter. Plus O would keep Aranda. Prolly get him a big raise. Jimbo Herman are 1-2. O if he wins out should be around that 3-4 spot
