Do we already have our Coach

Woodward does not make a major decision without already having someone as evidenced by Kim Mulkey. It’s not going to be announced till the end of the season but does anyone think that a deal is already done?

Honestly, I think they have their guy. There may be a few final details to work out, but I think it is mostly done

since they just made the announcement that they had no reason to make, then yes i think that lends credence to them already having a verbal agreement on the guy they want.
but a lot can change before the season ends, their guy might get a huge offer to stay that is just impossible to refuse

I’m sure Woodward already knows who he wants and knows the guy is gettable. Woodward is a doofus for giving Orgeron that last contract, but he’s not an Aleva -level pussy, so he won’t let someone play him until the 11th hour.

they could be ironing a few things out or just waiting a week or two.
that said, if he already has an agreement, i doubt it's someone currently in college so i have think it would be a pro coach.

Can’t say it’s done but Woodward isn’t going off these lists we keep seeing. He’s going for the big catch. He didn’t go through all this for another run of the mill coach.

If a deal is already done, and I doubt it is, it’s Petersen or Aranda. Based on all the comments about landing his “white whale”, Petersen makes sense. Would be a massive hire. And yet, I’d still rather have Aranda.
