Do any of you here truly believe Miles gets rid of GC?

I don't.

Even though his job may rely on GC next year I don't think Les pulls the trigger. Our only hope is GC leaves for another job but considering his pay here vs what he will get elsewhere that's a pipe dream too.

10-2 was just enough for Les to have an excuse to keep him no matter how bad we all know the offense was.

I think we blew the Arky game just so he could get rid of GC! :conspiracy theory:

I want him to fire gary but i doubt it happens. I really think this leach stuff is all smoke and mirrors again. He acts like he wants to replace gary but goes after a guy we all know he will not give control to they can't agree and its well we tried and couldn't replaced gary. I hope im wrong and we do get rid of gary but 10-2 is probably enough to keep him in les miles eyes even tough 9 of those games were all d and no O

The Arky game was a masterpiece of shitty play calling but not enough for Les to get rid of him.

Only way it happens IMO is if Les gets enough outside pressure to fire him.

I do. I think he looks at the overall numbers and cans him.

He did it to his D-Coor.'s.

I think he'll look at his OVERALL body of work and that will be that. Why would anyone keep that trash because of 2 good games?

i just dont see it we have enough fans that think 10-2 is fine without looking at how we got there and how to improve. 10-2 being good means to some we have no need to get better

I think 10-2 is a success, but can be improved upon. One way is to fire Crowton. Obviously.

in general I am violently opposed to interference, but I'm willing to relax my standards in this case.

Although I'm not in the "anything would be better" camp.

2009: 9-3 reg season, bowl loss, 112th ranked offense in ypg

2010: 10-2 reg sesaon, bowl ?, 89th ranked offense in ypg

I honestly don't see Miles letting Crowton go, as much as we want it to happen

Isn't this the last year of Crowton's contract and it will be up after the season? If so, it's not as much "getting rid" of GC as it is hiring someone else and choosing not to "resign or extend" Crowton's contract. He is free to look for his own employment if his contract is up.

10-2 was a success i agree with that. its clear the best way to improve is gary and stud being fired. I just dont think enough people will see it that way that actual pressure is put on les.

I think you can expect incremental improvement next year, even with Crowton. Pretty much every position will have more experience. Have to replace Barksdale and TT, but that won't be difficult. And that may be what Les looks at, does he take the chance that he can squeeze one more year out of this mess vs. risk a transition year with on experienced players.

problem is qb wont improve enough. gary can't coach a qb to save his life. we might improve but it wont be much if we still have 0 passing threat

Shoulda canned his after that season! Numbers wise, he should still be fired after this year too.

I don't think the Leach talk is any more than messege board chatter.
