Arkansas has a ton of money, great facilities, and reasonable expectations.

I'd coach there for sure.

Arkansas has the most fickle fans for certain, but they are not neurotic like LSU's.

Problem is with all the fantastic facilities, the people get very impatient and give no time to build.

Probably because he’s 56. If he was 45 with that resume, he’d be talked about more

He's done a great job.
But there aren't that many jobs that are major promotions.

He looks like he's 45. He has at least 10 good years left in him. I don't think age is an issue, and in fact his added maturity and experience may be a plus.

When did Syracuse become a destination job? I think it would be awesome if he ended his career there and took them new places, but Syracuse isn't a top 40, maybe not even a top 50 job.

Dino will be able to eventually get a MUCH better job than Arkansas.

This. If Dino is smart - and he is - he'll pick a school that isn't in the same sectional division as Alabama, Ohio State or Oklahoma. And where he has a solid recruiting base. Right now, the best looking job - if it becomes available - is UCLA.

3 out of our last 4 basketball coaches were black. The first black President came from Arkansas. I don't see why not.

So every black coach who runs hurry up spread is Kevin Sumlin.

How would beating a 2 win team do more for him than beating Clemson ?

Because despite the record the FSU name still carries a lot of weight.

Fun fact: RC demoted Babers in favor of Sumlin as OC back in 2002. Offense improved dramatically.

As long as cuse ponies up the cash there's no reason to leave.

He was making about a half mil per year. He went to Syracuse and replaced a guy that was making 1.3-ish. SEC money would get his attention.

He has said he will not talk contract extensions with Syracuse during the season. Smart move.

2018 rivals for new york. 2 four stars in whole state.
One from brooklyn which is far from syracuse as possible. 282 miles. 4.5 to 5 hrs by car depending on nyc traffic.
Scanning the roster on android with big font so one guy per page, zero guys from ny state before i drew conclusion.
Syracuse is getting its whole roster from elsewhere.
Plus their west is a lake and their north is hockey.
Their northeast is lacrosse. They are still strong in lacrosse although yuppies from better weather now rule.
