the more obvious answer is that Alleva put all his eggs in the O Jimbo bag and has failed to do due diligence in his hire.

With all respect here, you do not know that, I do not know that, and WE do not know that at all. All we're hearing is message board chatter and PURE speculation and TONS of wishful thinking. This is not a jab at you, but you (people in general) are hearing so much speculation right now that it's not even an exciting time right now because there's the usual know it all/troll suspects shitting on every potential reasonable insight someone may have.

I may be wrong here but I believe (I want to, anyway) that the $$$$ people and powers that be have had ample time to study the field and narrow it down and make the right choice soon.

For those crapping on Joe Aleva about saying O is in the mix and will be given a chance, what else do you want the man to say? We think this season was a disappointment now. Just think of the shite show we would've had if Aleva didn't at least say something to that affect, considering O's coaching experience as a HC and interim HC at USCw. At that point in the season stability was needed and Aleva made the right call. I give him that.

Joe has had two months so I don't think doing due diligence is an issue. I think he hoped O would give him an easy out if things went south with jimbo. After Saturday I don't think that's the case anymore.

But if guice doesn't fumble and doesn't go the wrong way and LSU makes a chip shot field goal, LSU wins double digits and you still give O the benefit....not even including Jackson's Frick ups.. What if LSU wins that game 27-6.....just saying...could have very easily happened if Jackson and guice don't Frick us.

Having an open mind and waiting for things to play out doesn't mean give him the job.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: it's Fisher. It's just that simple.

It needs to happen quick bc it could effect the remaining recruiting targets. A hire of Fisher or Herman would put us in the lead for several recruits, I would think.

juice we have at practice

Is he saying "juice" in like the energy they have at practice with Orgeron at the helm?

Or is he saying "juice" as in Capri Sun?

Please let it be the second one.
