I saw what les miles did here. He was an idiot most of the time and the worse clock management coach i can remember ever seeing. And he won big for a long time. Bc he could recruit. O can recruit. And he can manage the clock better than miles. Seems like a recipe for big success.

And yet....here we are

Can a man get three years? I will be the first person to say o needs to go with 4 losses next year. 3 losses would be very disappointing. But I don’t see even three losses. no way. That’s with or without aranda.
The qb never started a game In his career and wasn’t even name the starter til two weeks before the season started. the o line was crap. You really need more than 2 season to develop both of those positions. O didn’t have much at either of those spots when he came aboard. The Rb struggles I can put more on O bc you can get a real difference maker at the spot as a true freshman. And we didn’t have one this year. Next year we will.

Plenty of other schools can roll out a True Freshman or a first year starter and put them in better position than LSU can with a 3rd year college player. Plenty of other schools can have injuries along the Oline and adjust to hide that deficiency. But at LSU, its always needing more talent and more time...next year man...next year

What schools. Give me “plenty”.
Not just Lawrence at Clemson.
Not just Lawrence at Clemson.

Which is what was stated on AFR a couple of days ago

So your thesis is he's a championship level coach because he can manage the clock better?
And I don't believe the evidence has demonstrated that he can recruit as well as Miles did. Miles got top 3 classes on multiple occasions.

You serious, clark?
Plenty of other schools can roll out a True Freshman or a first year starter
You have never seen a TF or First year starter be put in better position?

Duplicate Les miles with better clock management skills and you can compete yea. Get lucky with genetic lottery and have another honey badger being born in state, etx etx.

show me the SEC QBs who are first year starters or true freshmen who have had lots of success. We are talking starting Qb In the baddest conference in the land.

you went from “there are plenty” who have done it
To
“You never seen one?” Who has done it.
Take a seat bro.

But you said he recruits as well and that hasn't been proven. So thus far he's not a duplicate in the area that matters the most, getting players.

Where are we ranked right now? Top 5 right?
And tbt there was a stink forming on the program at the end of miles tenure that took a class or two to clean up. Full speed ahead.

You really don't have to go back all that far:
Jake Fromm
Tua
Hurts
Bentley
Fitzgerald
That all in the last 3 years.

Jalen Hurts (NC as a freshman first year starter)
Tim Tebow (Heisman + NC as a first year starter)
Fromm (SEC champion + national runner-up as a freshman first year starter)
Uh...TUA!
Pretty much every Alabama QB has had success as a first year starter.
These are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there are plenty of others who had statistical success but not necessarily team success.

Just SEC? ok
Johnny Football
Fromm
Hurts
Tua
Coker
Fitz
tebow
Flynn
sims
Can't remember the guys name from UGA from 2013,not sure if that was his first year or 2nd.
We can keep going.
But it would be best if you take a seat, bro

Well yea they are Alabama. If burrow had Alabama surrounding talent he wouldn’t have struggled. Tebow is a Heisman level talent. And played a decade ago. We beat the shite outta Fromm.....
Posted on 11/30/18 at 4:13 pm to bstew3006
You going back a decade. And posting some questionable ones. The overwhelming majority aren’t good the first time they get out there.

Oh sorry, sweatheart! Wasn't aware of how far back you wanted to limit it.
That's from this season on back, just off the top of my head. All those players were either TF or first year starters and had plenty of success in the SEC. We can name a hell of a lot more across NCAA for this year. Point was proven! Sit down, bro!
