Per Football Scoop Twitter LINK
He was OC at Memphis under Fuente and Norvell. I know Fisher calls plays and his heavily involved in the offense but this is an interesting hire and I wonder if it means there will be any changes to his philosophy

Definitely not who I was expecting. Memphis’ offense was legit though

I always thought he got kind of screwed at North Texas back when he was their HC. He won the Sun Belt 4 straight years and after two bad seasons they fired him so they could hire high school HC Todd Dodge. (who failed spectacularly and is now back to coaching HS) Interesting hire but I'm sure he will just be implementing whatever Jimbo wants.

Will fit in well in Aggie

It's hard to know anything about him since he was at Memphis unde two former OCs in Fuente and Norvell, but Memphis offense has been prolific since he has been here.

Man is a fantastic offensive mind, but usually Jimbo calls the plays.
I am interested in what this means.
Anyone know who the candidates are for DC?

Grinch from Washington State will seemingly be their DC. tbh, he's much better than i was hoping for from jimbo.

Scapegoat hire ... will be blamed and fired in 2 years

He was a figurehead that coached tailbacks. Memphis is 100% Norvell

In a thread I made? Takes skill. Nice to know Jimbo’s new program has gained a loyal follower of every move they make tho

If anything that has held Jimbo back, its consistency at offensive line position and defensive coordinator
I think offense won't be an issue for A&M but they absolutely need a terrific hire on the defensive side.

Grinch from Washington State has been the rumor. I would love it, they were like 15th in total defense this year. We will see though
