I don't get the love for Herman, at least as HC for a top program. He's been a HC at Houston for one year. He's had a really good year. Sumlin was pretty good as well. That is not panning out. I think it's a gamble to hire a guy at a major program without much experience as a HC.

Hire Herman or who else? That's what UGA ran up against. All the proven head coaches have good jobs.

lmao, didn't we see this exact same story last week, but with South Carolina?

Hell, another source said that UGA was going to hire Kirby Smart.

At least we don't have to worry about facing Herman in the SECCG.

Didn't we just learn a lesson about insiders and sources? And we're back to believing the first random Twitter account we see? Literally called UGA insiders

And I think every single article out there is citing this Twitter account.

I'll wait until a reputable UGA insider reports this before I get too excited.

UGA just showed LSU how to properly fire and replace a coach behind closed doors

ESPN "reported" yesterday that Herman was staying put this year. That means he's probably in Athens signing a contract as we speak.

Don't think they would fire Richt without having what they consider a solid hire lined up. Why is everyone surprised?

Is he a solid hire? Time will tell.

Take note on how this is supposed to work LSU.

Sometimes you have to take a risk and let the coach prove you right. It is harder nowadays to get a head coach to do a near lateral move.
