Could be worse. Aaron Rodgers has become such a prick, I don’t think he was even listening to McCarthy the last few years. Here’s a little nugget from a Ringer article about coaching candidates that may be encouraging for Cowboys fans:
Sounds like something that’d fit Dak’s skill set.

Look Rodgers is obviously the best quarterback of the 2010s but the 2020 Dallas roster will arguably be the best roster that McCarthy has worked with as a HC.

Jones and McCarthy killed a hooker last night. That's how he gets his coaches on the hook and would explain why he hadnt fired Garrett sooner.

as a life long cowboy fan i like this hire. NFL re-tread well that's every coach including Belichick who was fired twice. I am not comparing the two but i hate the re-tread response. He is a hard nose football coach who has won a SB we need that type of coach. One the players will respect and one the Jones's will respect.
