Franklin is impressive as shite at vandy. Big turnaround fast.

Mullen is a pretty good coach, despite his record in the SEC west

Mullen, they aren't going to get a top coach to come into that massive mess.

How can they trust him so little?

They aren't paying more than 2 million a year, and they my face the NCAA hammer. Mullen maybe, the rest is bull shite.

Thanks for the info, I thought he had a pretty big hefty buyout, Didnt think PSU would try to come up with that and now apparently the information is out and I guess it is Mullen that PSU is supposedly eyeing. Again thanks and best of luck in your bowl game.

This is as good as he's going to be able get Arky to be, and he still has to contend with Miles and Saban. PSU would be a much easier gig, plus he's known for bolting a program at a moments notice. Exactly what I was thinking.

Petrino's actually the one that requested it to be increased to 18 million this past offseason.

The Penn St. job is not a good one at this moment.

My money would be on Franklin first, then maybe Mullen.

in all likelyhood, the next coach at Penn State will be a sacrificial lamb. the school may face NCAA sanctions and will be tainted no matter what. following joe paterno is a lose/lose deal no matter what.

footballscoop is awful, I could email them and tell them Bear Bryant is up for the UAB job and they would post it as a story

Nutt isn't a current SEC coach.

The only one who would take the Penn State job is NTP. His ego is too big to care about what kind of mess he's inheriting, and he doesn't care about Paterno's legacy.

Petrino has not made an SECCG appearance after his 4th season.

This is a ridiculous arguement. He's turned an absolute train wreck around at Arkansas and has had back to back 10 win seasons for the first time since the 80's. He has done a phenomenal job at Arkansas in four years. He just happens to be coaching at the exact same time as the greatest team ever at Auburn and the greatest team ever at LSU.

Here's how it works out...

BCS puts LSU vs. Bama in the NCG

LSU beats Bama for the 2nd time this season

Saban jumps ship to PSU and goes against Urban Meyer for B10 supremacy.
