I was thinking Akron would have to go get someone like Vince Kehres (DC from Toledo, former HC at Mount Union, probably who should have gotten the job last time).
Infocision Stadium is surprisingly really nice and the facilities are decent, but the campus and city as a whole are absolute shitholes.
A sad fact: One of the potential candidates for the Akron job was Tim Tyrell, who is currently the HC at Akron Hoban HS. There was legitimate concern than Hoban could outbid Akron to keep him if they really wanted to.

Wisconsin might be looking for a OC soon.
Joe Rudolph, a Wisconsin alum, was OC / OL coach in 2020, but took a demotion (OC removed from his title) and pay-cut before 2021. Things didn’t go well, again, with Paul Chryst calling plays + Rudolph OLs have been anything but consistent. There is immense pressure to bring in an OC and get Chryst back to, well, being a head coach.
Anyway, not sure the position, but sounds like Rudolph may be heading to Va Tech. Don’t think this was totally voluntary, but Chryst and Rudolph are good friends — gives him a chance to land on his feet.
