I have been saying since Ryan Clark brought this up that it smacked of complete BS- and that NO ONE had bothered to ask Coach Tomlin himself about ANY of this.
A good portion of sports radio is nothing more than unfounded gossip.

dude his agent was putting his name out there lol. they didnt just make it up. Whaley was told by his agent to bring it up.

Not that the situations are really comparable, but Saban straight up said, "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach," two weeks before becoming the Alabama coach.

Remember when Saban said almost the exact same thing, just not as harsh? Tomlin isn't going to risk his non losing season record next year, since they have the oldest team in football. That team is going into full rebuild mode in a year or two. He'll make the jump somewhere soon.

I love this honesty, refreshing
but once his QB retires, ole Tomlin may not have that job...just sayin, be humble people think highly of you...
