He went hard after the job. Can’t see him staying.

He never should have gotten fired at FIU, but he needed a little more experience before a job like this.

He's a fantastic recruiter and he can do some serious damage with that Nike money. He definitely needs to hire a good OC and revert to a CEO style HC.

It could go either way...

If he hires Jim McElwaine as OC and can poach a good DC (Kevin Steele maybe), he can make Oregon forget Kelly.

Fans put way too much emphasis on keeping one recruiting class together. We just went through this with Romar having a top 3 recruiting class. Luckily our AD still had the guts to fire him.

Every UW fan I've talked to so far is ecstatic with this hire.

You described LSU rather well with Orgeron.

The AD is adamant about getting a recruiter. We all saw what happened to UW in the playoffs. They want a guy that can be an elite recruiter and we’re willing to pay more for coordinators than the entire conference.

Steele ain't leaving the state of Alabama unless it's for a HC gig.

And Jim mcelwaine ain't gonna make anyone forget about chip kelly

Better than getting your arse beat In Conference USA or whatever dumpster conference fiu was in. I'd be pissed if I was an Oregon fan. If you're gonna promote give it to leavitt.

70 players signed a petition! Must be the right move!

Listening to what the players want in a head coach is always the wrong move.

Because every player we sign is a future pro bowler and every player who doesn't sign with us is going to be strung up on drugs in two years.

And every QB recruit we take a look at is the next tom Brady

Outstanding work Phil Knight keep him out of Tallahassee. Taggart isn’t nearly as scary without him. Still scary but not as scary.

I still like Taggart recruiting vs Mullen

You won't like coaching against Mullen. The dude will have some good QBs rolling through Gainesville

As they should be. Oregon is back to being just a bowl program at best.

Well obviously I don’t think anyone is arguing for Mullen being the better recruiter. That would be silly. I’m just glad it’s not Taggart and Cristobal, Cristobal is the best Florida recruiter in the country in my opinion.

I definitely think he's much better than Muschamp and Swamp Donkey.
