He could feasibly leave Liberty for a bigger gig. The issue at this point with Freeze isn’t where he’s coaching, but rather his reputation now being tarnished.

False. He is untouchable in the SEC as a head coach. It would get you severely scrutinized by the NCAA and there isn’t a single program out there that wants that especially right now with all the grey areas surrounding NIL.
There is far more to that story that the NCAA knew about that didn’t come into light.
Let’s just say he’s damn lucky it didn’t end up being an FBI investigation around it and leave it at that.
