he would be getting about 600k correct?? that is more then the saints rights. That is a incredible about of money for a dline coach. THat is almost top coordinator pay. No way he does not take it.

LSU's changes on defense have and will rock the college football world. People are always trying to stir up things and cast doubt on the program to slow down this recruiting train that's hitting the station this year at 90 mph, and that's before O. After we get 7-10 five stars this year people will "respect us or we'll bust em in the mouth".

Not a done deal indeed, had a feeling this was happening all along. Cut ties with him and get Haley, which IMO, is just as good a coach but is unknown in recruiting.

O is history. I always knew there was a chance we could lose him since belowpar hadn't confirmed anything and that fact that Sexton is O's agent.
We will be ok with whomever we get. Remember, we have a top recruiting class after a 7-5 season and no Coach O...seriously, I don't understand some of the reaction to this.

Yeah, when I found this little site in early 04, I never envisioned it to have so many drama queens.
So Ed O played LSU for more money.......
Should be interesting search for our guy now.......
