Let us know here, but also answer these questions.
1. Which coach would you rather have instead?
2. What you think makes that coach better?
3. What is your reason(s) for not wanting Riley?

Lots of folks will say Dave Aranda, and I do like DA, but to to act like hiring him wouldn't have some risk involved is ridiculous.

Is this the point and laugh thread?

As expected. The Riley haters/Orgeron lovers will flood with down votes, but refuse to answer the questions. They know answering will just make them look dumb.

I Do Not Want Riley’s Defense!

1. Aranda
2. He knows LSU, will be cheaper, and has proven he can beat the brakes off just about anyone including Lincoln Riley.
3. Because Riley has hit his ceiling as a coach and hasn’t won shite after taking over the powerhouse built by someone else. Oh and the rumored salary is absurd for a proven loser.

Not really, which is why I asked them questions that I would like to hear the answers to. But yes it would be nice to have all the stupid contained to one place.

Who are you talking about? Must not be Riley

I like Dave BUT, at this point in their careers, no one with average or above intelligence would choose Aranda over Riley. If you have the opportunity to get Riley, you fn do it. No matter what all these mouth breathers say…. piss on the money, it’s not yours.

3. What is your reason(s) for not wanting Riley?
I hate success and winning

Urban or Rhule
Both are better coaches while one has won championships
Why do I not want him…see above and I find it hard to believe that if we offer 10 to 15 million we couldn’t get one of those two.

Woke LSU will be paying the highest salary ever to a guy who is winless in the CFP. That’s just a bad gamble.

I initially had my doubts but that was strictly bc I only knew Riley as the guy that loses every year in the playoff. I did my research and quickly realized I was an idiot and that he will kill it here. Pair him w a solid DC and we’re good to go bc he will make sure his team’s offenses will shred defenses.

OP is saying that any argument against Riley is insignificant in comparison to other candidates. I think people are misunderstanding.

Aranda
Owns Riley
No defense his entire time at OU

Not excited about Riley
Would rather have Aranda. He knows LSU better. Or even Napier.
Both fit LSU better, Aranda with prior experience here and Napier because he understands the culture which is different than other jobs. And both are better defensive coaches. Offenses come and go but a great defensive coach is always gonna be a contender.
It’s not that I don’t want Riley it’s that I would rather a coach with a great defensive background and I don’t think Riley recognizes that. He certainly hasn’t shown it so far. I don’t think you can win in the SEC without a great defense.

1. Aranda
2. Guy is proven and battle tested in understanding that defense in the SEC is a priority to win the conference. Who can coach it better and he knows you have to score often and early as well on the offensive side of the ball. He is a minority that brings instant stability and respect to the program that’s likely more equipped to handle the woke environment in Baton Rouge.
3. Prior to him being named a possible candidate at LSU, most people would agree that OU should never even be considered for a playoff spot given Riley has been stomped in those games. If OU played in the SEC during the CFP period and BCS era they would be lucky to be 500 and OU would be on their second or third coaching search. Hell Lane Kiffen at OM is more proven than Riley, Riley is lime eye candy for the blind.
