UF writer now says Boom knew Charlie was talking to Kansas and he supports him 100%.

Just from watching the two of them on the sidelines during games, there never seemed to be much communication at all between them. Seemed a strange relationship from the start. Would not surprise me to learn that Boom is not all that broken up over this, even though it clearly sets the program back for the time being. Hopefully, he can move quickly to bring in a top rated OC.

His twitter says it changes things but I suspect Boom will calm him down. Plenty of time to keep or lose him. A quick hire would be nice.

Know it wont happen but it would be classic if Weiss hired Mangino as his OC.
Was living in Kansas when Weiss was there the at KC. The back story was always he wasnt happy there so going to Kansas was a surprise.
Maybe him and Coach Boom werent hitting it off.
