Veteran coach Charlie Strong, who was Miami's co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach last season, told ESPN on Thursday that he would not return to Miami in 2023 after being passed over for the defensive coordinator job.

"Coach [Mario] Cristobal and the program made a decision to go in a different direction. It's time for me to go in a different direction," Strong said.

I don’t but this does look racist. I think there should be some looking into it personally

Pissed or not, why stay where you aren't moving up?

I just realized he is 62. I could have sworn he was 5-10 years younger.

Black don't crack

But I'm with you; it feels like he was a young coach at Florida, but he was actually in his mid-40s.

What will he do there to help himself get better as a coach?

At some point, you realize where you are your best. If that is head coach, great. If that is coordinator, great. IE stick to what you are good at.
