Chargers fired Anthony Lynn this morning, per source. Two seasons ago, Lynn led the Chargers to a 12-4 record, then this year they finished 7-9, winning their last four games, giving him a 33-31 record in LA.

Chargers now become the sixth NFL team to have a head coach opening.

Gotta be an attractive job with the guy who just had the greatest season ever for a rookie qb.

And again the media will drudge up the stats about number of black coaches and how it’s a travesty and claim Lynn didn’t get enough time.

Could join the Saints staff if Dan Campbell or Joel Thomas are poached. He and Sean Payton are close friends.

Lynn fuked himself with pathetic end of game decisions. He obviously wasn't qualified for HC in the first place .

Warren Sharp had almost a weekly melt over Lynn's horrible decisions

Is it fun making up fake controversies? Lynn was bashed by NFL Twitter weekly for his poor decisions and everyone credible knows he should have been fired. The Chargers found new ways to lose every game this season. I'm sure you might be able to find something along the lines of what you said, but it would be a huge outlier so who the hell cares?

Lynn likely would have gotten a pass if Herbert didn't look as good as he did.

The Chargers actually made the correct move by not wasting another year of the cheap stud QB window hoping Lynn suddenly becomes a non shitty coach

Is the owner flying into Baton Rouge to offer Orgeron $20 Million a year for 10 years?

So you don't think race will ever be brought up in the discussion of Lynn? ESPN and NFL network commentators aren't going to look at the number of current black coaches now that he's been dismissed and discuss it? Of course they will. Because half of this country identifies themselves and everyone else in society solely by their outward appearance. That's what he is pointing out whether you like it or not.

Again, someone will say it. You can always find someone that has a stupid opinion. But the vast majority of people/media/analysts know he's a bad coach that deserved to be fired. But please, go ahead and amplify the idiot/clickbait/hot take opinions like you guys love to always do and give it excess attention.

I don't even watch ESPN/NFL Network shows because they are terrible, so why do you apparently complain and still watch?

Maybe the guy's voicing frustration that those shows have been ruined for him, too, because of this very topic?
