Sonny Dykes would be perfect for Baylor (or any Big 12 team). His team's score a zillion points and never play defense. Clock is probably ticking on his time at Cal. 1-11, 5-7, 8-5, 5-7.
At Baylor, he could hit the reset button on his service clock and have a built in excuse with Baylor's non-existent recruiting class.

He's waiting on Aggie job. All reports say that is his dream job and he has all his guys returning next year at SMU.
He knows Sumlin most likely will be gone next year, so he could either go to the dumpster fire at Baylor for one year or stay and make the same $$ with his players at SMU and take Aggie in 2017.

Might want to put some skins on the wall so he even get in the conversation for that job. Coming off a 5-7 season and giving up 75 in a must win game, he's not really in a position to turn up his nose at Baylor for a better gig.

Is Aggy going to hire him? His record will be just as shitty as Ed O's was at OM, and it will be current.
