rumor was Petrino came across as very arrogant and demanding and was not the personality LSU wanted after having just dealt with the Nicktater.

just came off as a massive prick and pretty much said he'd probably be going to the NFL soon.

I don't really care if he is a prick just as long as he wins ball games.

I dont know about Petrino...he seems kinda sneaky

He did turn down the Auburn job, the sneaky ones were Bobby Lowder and the crew.

If I were coaching Michigan to a possible natonal title and LSU was ranked 15-25 and they offered me the job ... no way I could turn it down.

I would almost feel like it was my duty. Can you imagine the difference between going to some kid's house in Yipsilanti or going down over to Breaux Bridge. That's probably how LM feels. It means so much more when your coaching the team you love and your alma mater.

I think he goes.

He resigned from both jobs. I'm not endorsing the guy, i am asking why he would not be considered.

i agree. if he didnt want the job, he would have already killed the rumors.

i think if he does leave, it will be a huge mistake. i cant blame him for leaving though, he views schembechler as a father figure.

What about Jim Mora Jr.? He would be a monster on the recruiting trail.

They will offer Les the Job. He will take it. Bo got him started in Football, and it is his university. He told LSU taht in the begining. They key is for him to win the NC before he leaves, and we wish him well as he was honest with us and did a great job.

The key is what Michigan does. When Carr resigns Monday we need Michigan to quitely offer Miles the Job and agree to let him finish this year out or he demand to not annouce until he does if in NC hunt. Problem is with recruiting. It is a damn distraction no matter what.

PETRINO OR SPURRIER

WOULD BE BETTER THAN LES MILES, so there really is not any downside there.

ALL the coaching jobs today are short team & money loaded so anyone could leave @ anytime

i think michigan will quietly offer him the job, but les will coach the NC game. he wont pass up that opportunity, and it would be good publicity for michigan. they are going to have a lot of Srs to replace.
