Check out this exerpt from ESPN
"Seymour said other former players he's spoken with wouldn't have a problem if Michigan filled its most prominent job with the hottest name that has been attached to the job -- LSU's Les Miles -- but Martin said he's keeping his distance -- for now.
"No. 1 he's involved in his season," Martin said of Miles. "You have to respect not only he as a coach at LSU, the athletic director at LSU, and that institution. It's a fine school and they have a great chance to win a national championship this year. I would not want to do anything to interfere with that opportunity."
Can't link it, but it sounds like Domino's Pizza guy wants Les to have the job...

This is exactly what will happen. Mich. will string along Miles for a couple of weeks, negative recruiters will have a field day with our recruits during this time. Then around the first week in DEC. name a relatively lower profile coach who no one expected as their coach.
and BAM, punk Miles
We then will move on as an LSU nation with Miles
into the sunset.

Del Rio - no. He is a USC man who could leave us down the road.
His wife is from Louisiana, which probably outweighs where he played.

Do you think that we would lose any recruits if Miles is gone? I have the feeling that most would come under my coaching.

I have said this before on here and I will say it again: No to Del Rio. He has no personality and would not be able to handle the pressure of the LSU/SEC media.

My vote is Del Rio too! I think he would be great. what about Jim Mora Jr.? he mentioned wanting to coach in college. Jon Gruden also is in his last year at Tampa Bay. Interesting...

"I can tell you this: Les loves Michigan," said Wangler, who worked with Miles at Michigan as a graduate assistant and was a member of Miles' wedding party.
"If the job's open and they offered him the job, I believe he would come up. I don't think there's any ands, ifs or buts about it. But he's not interviewing for the job, he's not going to campaign for the job, he's not going to be put in (a group) of three (candidates). He isn't going to do that.
