Sources: The Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who 10 months ago signed a contract extension through the 2027 season.

The Cardinals still never have had a head coach - any head coach - last longer than six years while the team has existed for over 100 years.

Brilliant strategy

Fire him

Hire a new HC who has to coach half the season without Kyler

Fire the new coach

Pretty good news for him. Just signed an extension so he's going to get a bag for a job he wasn't really qualified for, and can take a few years off traveling the world with his super instagram model girlfriend.

Arizona will definitely try to get CSP.

Pic of said girlfriend:

I remember Sean Payton criticizing Kliff being hired in the first place. Would be funny if he took the job.

Mark my words - he will get the next big West Coast college football job that opens up. Maybe Arizona?

It would make sense for him to get a mid-tier Pac12 job, but if I was him I would chill for a few years.

I’m confident that when Bill O’Brien leaves for the NFL this offseason, this is who Saban will bring in to be OC

I don't think it's a lock he stays out west, but he will absolutely get a college head coaching job at a program better than Texas Tech. Funny to think about.
