It’s always a good thing to give young QB’s a different OC entering their second year.
Said nobody ever.

O was moronically hired to do nothing. Now he can’t even do that and is running off our first hope for consistent offense in a while. sad!
This guy gets it.

O is going to stick with someone he trusts that will run a "safe" offense. He has already formulated the Les Miles paranoia. It took 2008 to destroy miles trust in offensive football, apparently it took O losing to Troy.
If O has it his way, Brennan won't see the field and he can rely on a read option QB (Narcisse) that doesn't put it in the air often. It is amazing how history is repeating itself so quick.

Yes to freeze or briles. Hell no on Enos.
This.
But tbh, I would like to see Canada’s come back. Biggest improvement of an offense is during Year 2.

I believe Doug Nussmeier is still available. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
You just broke my sarcasm meter.

This is such a dumb statement, or should I say a strong indication of someone who doesn't understand coaching.
Please explain how it's dumb? They didn't want to interview him and told him he wasn't in the running for the job.

Or you aware that Saban wasn't in our pool of potential candidates until he had his agent make contact? Guess you assume Saban was a drama queen way back then too. Many many coaching hires result from a coach getting his name added to a list.
Ya, I get it. His agent made contact and they said no. There is no conspiracy that orgeron didn't let him interview. Have you ever heard of video conferencing? It's pretty easy to interview and have meeting without being in the same room. I've interviewed and hired several people without ever meeting then in person. It's pretty easy to do and even more so with public figures.

If all is true - It sounds like Canada is pushing himself away from the program a bit. Making himself an outsider. Its not looking good for him on the HC front. There aren't many open positions and there are better candidates, imo.
If his behavior continues, a competent coach and AD should fire him after the bowl game. You can't have that kind of drama going on from your OC around signing day and after.

Just think this is interesting...
Comparing 2015 (Miles and Cameron last full year) to 2017 with Canada
SEC games Only
Rushing:
2015: 229.38
2017: 212.25
Passing:
2015:172.6
2017: 184
Total:
2015: 402
2017: 396
Scoring:
2015: 26.3
2017: 26.5
Found that interesting.

Hugh Freeze as OC would be amazing. I don't know why Canada isn't happy with $1.5 million

My only concern is if there is a rift between he and Orgeron, and he wants out I don't know that I would want him back. I don't care how good he is. If he isn't into LSU, then who is to say he stays because he has no other options and just gives a half assed effort. No thanks. The players don't deserve that. The HC and OC need to get their arse on the same level quick fast and in a hurry.

(I’m only speculating here). I’m just thinking O and Canada do not get along and it’s creating a difficult working environment

Seems he has had several good jobs and left each rather quickly

which is a shame because he should have the offense humming next year. He could cash in big after 2018. Of course O might be pushing him out.
Orgeron needs to provide Canada with a WR coach or Canada needs to start coaching WRs himself. Mickey Joseph has proven he can't coach WRs or recruit. Quality hire by Orgeron.

I can confirm 2 of the names. Freeze is still hot and not sure LSU would touch him. But winning may trump all.
I really like the 1st two.

Honestly, no where if he does cannot find a job. LSU is not firing him because of the contract. O and Canada have mutual dislike of each other.
