Can Alleva Contract All Hiring Out to Skip Bertman?

I mean, I know Skip is old, but just let him do the hiring and then go back into retirement. Alleva can do the day-to-day stuff.
At least then we'll have someone who can make decisions and go get us the best coach available instead of everything being run by committee.
I think its a good idea whose time has come.

Complain about Miles all you want, but you can't say he was a terrible coach. He averaged 10 wins over a decade and gave us a national championship and two SEC titles. It isn't like he was a bust or anything.
Come on, guys. I wanted Miles gone at the end like everyone else. But, it isn't right to crap on the last decade of LSU football and act like it was a disaster. That is just stupid.

Not quite that extreme but he did make a counter to the Dolphin's offer with the "we won't go any higher" caveat. The unsaid part is Sexton, Saban & Skip all knew LSU could go higher. It's telling someone to frick off in a polite way.
