My instinct, intuition, 6th sense, or whatever you call it, is telling me that Aranda is the guy.
It’s not the sexy pic but it could be good. While I don’t see Aranda as a perennial playoff contender, I’ll settle for 2 nattys in 8 years with the admission that I might have been getting greedy.

LSU isn’t after Aranda or Campbell that’s my thoughts. Just like they didn’t go after Napier. Aranda is unproven and Campbell just isn’t the type of hire you go after to break the bank. Think about it, if Campbell or Aranda were serious contenders, would they have ever started at the 10+ million dollar range? And no, I don’t think we are far enough down the list for any of the 3 coaches I listed to be considered.

If that is accurate, we are in good spot.
Although, I do think if Riley turns us down, Scott would make Jimbo say no as well before he turns to Aranda. I know what Jimbo said, but that's kind of like Saban "I am not going to be the coach at Alabama."

Really think y’all should get Aranda out of your heads. He’s obviously not a serious contender for the job right now. If Riley says no after the season, I would bet he turns to the nfl and/or other big name guys like Fickell at that point.
