He will have USC in the playoff. LSU could still get him, but it looks like Aranda and Campbell will be either the USC or LSU choices

i heard aranda's zoom meet and greet didn't go so well. he just sat there with a cerebral stare in his eyes and needed to grab his tFolder every time he spoke.

If Aranda is the floor (which is a term I hate to use regarding him because he’s an exceptional coach) for LSU, then we are on the cusp of raining holy hell and fury down on the SEC again.

I also think USC is smart for bringing in a big culture guy. That program has an even worse culture problem than LSU.
He'll go in, clean out the bad eggs, and have that team rolling in year 2, then year 3 in playoff talks (less competition in Pac12 helps).

I'd much rather have Aranda. I completely discount anything that happened during the 2020 season.

Napier to UF and Campbell to USC “supposedly” gaining steam (I don’t trust anyone thanks to this search) has got to be a good sign if these things are true.

Very few of Aranda's big minute players this year are his guys. That is my only heartburn with him. He's got a ton of upperclassmen.
If he did this in year 3 and 4 again, I'd want to give him a Brinks truck.

Then Petersen has turned down USC and may be headed to Baton Rouge.
