Make sense. Lane is itching to get back in the SEC. Would love for him to be there similar to Pat Dye faced the Bear. Teacher Versus Pupil. Saban versus kiffin. Lets get it on.

I have a friend who is an Auburn fan who likes to play the part of an insider. He's not, but it's good comic relief for me. Anyway, he says the plan is to let Malzahn leave for another job to avoid the buy-out and hire Muschamp. In his words, Muschamp would be a world-beater with the dynamic Auburn program to recruit to. He cites that even Spurrier and Holtz had a hard time recruiting to South Carolina. (I bite my tongue and don't ask why Muschamp failed horribly in Gainesville.)
