Same with me. My Auburn “insider” friend told me that although everybody hates Gus, they love what Kevin Steele has done with the defense, and they will hire Steele as head coach so as to keep the defensive coaching staff intact on the plains.

The plan since last year when Gus was almost fired, is to promote Kevin Steele to head coach. Not interim either. There is no list of candidates, it will be Kevin Steele if Gus is let go/"hired away" by Arkansas.
