I realize that both bring a lot of baggage. O has a relationship with Kiffin, but that's a wildcard. I don't believe that Briles was as complicit in the Baylor scandal as many would have you believe. Which would you pick, and why?

Briles is a million times better than kiffin, but he is toxic and unhireable

The fact that y'all are considering Art Briles shows what a disaster is going on on the Bayou.

Sark is at Bama. How is his toxicity different, based on the OP?

Pretty much.

As more reports come out of Baylor, it appears as though he really did look the other way on rape allegations.

I can forgive looking the other way and having a 'boys will be boys' attitude on a lot of things: weed, bar fights, DUI's and poor academics. The stuff that happened at Baylor wasn't juvenile mischief, it was sickening.

Neither.

Ya know there are other very qualified coordinator candidates who aren't trash bag human beings right?

Briles was informed of players raping women and did nothing. I'd almost say he helped in obstructing justice, to a degree, because he never went through the proper channels to take care of it.

Sark just got drunk.

THAT'S the difference.

I'd let them pick over a game of simultaneous Russian Roulette with 2 fully loaded revolvers.

Briles deserves a second chance. Kiffin is a douche nozzle who doesn't deserve his third chance. Let him continue to be Saban's little bitch

With the receiver talent at LSU, Briles. No question about it. He messed up, paid the price by losing his job, move on.

I don't see him as an assistant though. Hasn't been once since early 80s except for a short stint at TT to get his college feet wet

With his current situation, IF he wants to stay in coaching, how could he turn it down?
