I know last night he was saying that he wouldn't leave Cincy because it's not a "stepping stone" any longer.

You think he stays true to that promise in this day of deceit?

what he said. I am still not convinced that Penn St. would pass on him either.

Kelly made some racist remarks at his previous job that are going to prevent him from getting the Notre Dame job and perhaps any big time job.

Being labeled a racist, whether true or not, can eliminate you from the search very quickly. Schools don't want to answer those questions.

The Brian Kelly character "questions" are just another retarded myth propogated by the rantards. It's amazing how one poster will say something totally uninformed and it becomes gospel.

The BK character issues, Bumpas is a puppett, etc etc. It's mind-numbing retardation.

ND and PS jobs will come up in the future and he would take them. Auburn is not an easy spot to win to satisfy Mr. Lowder and the Trustees.

Why would Brian Kelly want to leave Cincy?

He's got a school in a BCS conference, with the easiest road to a BCS game every year, and a University President that seems to really want to expand the athletics programs there and has the money to do so. UC's yearly enrollment is = to LSU's at 33K+.

People were saying the same about Rich Rodriguez last December...

And look how that's working out for him. But you never know. Money talks, and I KNOW there are schools that will pay more than Cincy.

I think he will do fine when he gets his players in there.

I would tend to agree, but there must be drastic improvement next season. If there's not, he might be out before he can get the players he needs to run his system.

He'll have some in next season, but they will be young. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.
