He knows ND can never win it all. Academics prohibit it. He wants a NC bad knows LSU has the talent and program to get him there. Now he will go toe to toe with Saban but with equal (ish) talent. That’s why he’s coming (educated guess), not money.

Both have cons. Los Angeles has a few pros. BR doesn’t.

I have no doubt that Kelly can and will win at LSU. He's known to be a disciplinarian, which is something that this LSU team definitely needs. Orgeron allowed the team environment to grow more and more toxic. Kelly won't put up with that shite. Good players who work hard will love him. Lazy, entitled divas will hate him, which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
I'm curious to see how he adapts to life in the deep South. Will he embrace our Southern ways and traditions? Also, Baton Rouge is a world away from South Bend, Indiana. Anyone who's ever visited the city will know what I mean. He's leaving behind crisp fall days with beautiful foliage, mild summers, snowy winters, clean streets, and low crime. It will be a culture shock for him and his family for sure, but they may learn to love it as Saban and Miles did.

What the hell are you talking about? Notre Dame has not only made the playoff multiple times under Kelly but also the BCS. All he had to do was win the games. The man is pulling top 5 classes into that school on the regular. It’s fricking notre dame not Duke. What the hell is wrong with you people. Get out of the fricking bayou every once in a while fricks sake.
