It is but he won’t turn LSU down

You can always go back home if it doesn’t work here

Yep. He's from Alabama and a Georgia Tech grad.

80% sure he would be my guy if I was AD

If I were calling the shots at LSU I wouldn't give him a chance to tell me no.

Offensive line & trenches pedigree. Only unknown is how is he with replacing QB's.

Brent Key’s success at Tech is largely attributed to strong administrative support, particularly from Angel Cabrera. He’s not leaving GT

Why? If he wins out at Tech he's got job security for at least 8 years with a decent salary and no fools like LSU fans and media types calling for his firing after a 3-4 loss season

Exactly. Key is a good coach, but he’s got a perfect situation. He would be an idiot to leave GT.

If Key leaves GT, GT will promote Buster his OC.

Key is making $4.5mm at Georgia Tech. It’s the same story as Jeff Brohm at Louisville, who makes under $6mm.

They love their schools I’m 100% sure. But if LSU or Florida or Penn State or whoever offers to literally double their salary, are they truly going to say no? Will GT and Louisville match?
