Can someone clue me in why Jimbo would leave FSU for LSU? I honestly have no clue about any ties or desires of his.
But in a vacuum, why would SF want Harbaugh gone or Harbaugh want to leave SF? In 3 full years at SF, they've gone to a Super Bowl and 2 other NFC Championship games. Common sense would say they're doing great together.
But then again, that's clearly not the case.

To people asking for reasons why Jimbo would leave FSU for LSU:
1. He's cut from the same cloth as Saban, ultra competitive and always itching for a challenge. The SEC is in his blood, he's a competitor. LSU doesn't have a "legend" coach and he could be that guy if he stays for 20 years. Sure he could be that at FSU but Bobby Bowden still looms large.
2. LSU has better resources at their disposal than FSU. LSU boosters and alumni are more likely to get him what he wants in terms of money and support. The recruiting base is even better when you consider he has to compete against Florida when they get going again and Saban and Gus have a lock on the state of Alabama. He knows LSU, the state of LA, and he enjoyed his time at LSU. He knows how to lock down the state and that when you do, it's one of the best inherent advantages to any collegiate athletic program. Not to mention the SEC network.
3. Lastly, apparently he's pretty tired of FSU admins and BOS and has been for some time. Granted this is just some internet hearsay coupled with talking to people with LSU BOS connections, but if true that'd be another reason.

so didnt kyle anderson do something similar to hill? obviously was a long while back, but i kinda remember those incidents to be similar for some reason. and hill's incident was caught on camera. dont remember anderson's fate being left up to the team.
So you are saying at no point was he held responsible by the team.

I like Les but would love Jimbo.
But it doesnt matter because Miles is staying and Jimbo wouldn't leave.

Are you comparing raping a girl with failing a drug test?

I have an old Marine buddy of mine who lives in Tallahassee and is a big time Nole. He has always told me that FSU has always been concerned about Fisher and LSU if the job came up. The word is that Fisher still hunts with a lot of big time LSU supporters and loved his tenure in BR. This guy doesn't bullshite too much but take it for what,s it,s worth. It doesn't matter anyway isn't,t going to Michigan.

I didn't know he liked LSU so much and all the connections he still has but since I started saying what I heard the response has kind of been that everybody already knows this information.
