i guess if a man's integrity is judged on how many players he kicks off the team and how many he keeps and tries to reform, then geez.

Do you honestly think Les didn't give Perilloux and Mathieu the longest leash possible? Hell, I don't know if he even had a choice with Mathieu, it got so bad. And by no means do I think Jimbo is the greatest out there, but I don't see many DI coaches who don't have a whole lotta bend in them.

why would Jimbo leave FSU for LSU?

he is gonna turn state evidence against James and the Tallahassee Police.

A coach by the name of Jumbo Hunter is going to be Coaching at LSU, with "no prior coaching experience"

but he is gonna look a lot like Jumbo Fisher with a mustache.

Mathieu and Perilloux got the boot.

JJ and Hill got in trouble 1 time while at LSU.

they couldn't be helped so he kicked them off after trying to help over and over.

jameis obviously can't be helped, but he still remains the starter with immunity.

JJ had what, one incident? Hill had one before LSU and one at LSU.

Hill got in trouble a 2nd time while being recruited to come to lsu.
Matheiu failed multiple drug tests at lsu and les gave him plenty of chances like jimbo has given jameis. Perrilloux had at least 3 altercations that occured that didnt get him kicked from the team. He had to do one more for les to boot him. So stop acting like les has zero tolerance

Why would Jimbo leave life in the ACC where he can dominant to come to the meat grinder of the SEC west?

All coaches give their stars multiple chances. Cant blame them, their job is tied to it

the point is, miles/jimbo...they both ride the fine line don't they?

so saying that jimbo is a dirtbag bc he's doing similar shite to other coaches is kinda disingenuous

We have those same issues here, but I think a lot will argue that Les has handled his a lot more prudently than Jimbo. Or at least has made it look that way.

People will point to the fact Les kicked off Perrilloux and Mathieu as his unwillingness to deal with troublemakers and ignore how long it took for that to happen and at least in one case the administration, not Les, forcing it to happen.

LSU has had craziness happen too, but the difference is they have a more legitimate PD that doesn't cover every little thing up.

In the end, Jimbo gets more headaches there because of how their local PD and admins run things.

Jimbo would come here so he could win NC's at two schools like mentor Nick.

Miles' micro management ran Jimbo out of town.

again, that doesn't make jimbo any less slimy.

miles also kicked off our best QB and our heisman finalist DB.

After he was forced too, at least in the case of TM7.

Mattheiu was never arrested and got kicked off the team
Perilloux got kicked off the team
Jefferson ende dup pleading to a misdemeanor
And Jeremy Hill got a BJ and punched a guy

Jameis allegedly raped a girl and then stole crab legs on camera.

And he didn't miss a single fricking game.

this might have already been mentioned, but doesn't his son have some sort of malady that is treated by a physician in Baton Rouge, even to this day? He has had the same doctor since his birth and diagnosis. So, the possibility exists that Jimbo could come back to BR since this is where his son is treated....
