We definitely missed on him. 247 guys last night were addressing the rumors but said LSU is working with him on a deal and "this one feels different".

I thought Woodard would go the Kelly route early in the process of firing O.
Its known that Kelly is difficult to work with. Its known he has a demanding mentality with his assistants. He breeds loyalty from within his program, but there is also never a lot of fresh blood coming in. Guys that work for him are "his guys".
Still, I thought the profile of LSU would make this more attractive necessitate fresh hires. Interesting.

Tub just said he was told last week Brad White is the DC.
I swear this almost identical to the Freeman situation last year. Visits Baton Rouge, deal almost done, ready to be announced....and then we get burned at the last minute.

I loosely remember a CBK quote from a couple weeks ago. He said something like, "When your wife is all in, you go." Lots of factors to consider when uprooting, but that's the business.

I don't really buy into this. There's been a lot of guys from his ND staff that have been interested in following him here, and ultimately either they did, or decided against it.
But the fact that there was thought put into it, is significant.

I saw that as well. He could very well stay at Kentucky, but the timing is interesting, is all I'm saying.
