BR paper and radio guys are wondering “what does $100 million get LSU?”

On the radio this morning Jacob Hester was talking about Rabalais’ column in the sports paper this morning. Hester was asking which coach would be worth such a long term commitment of $100 million? Hester was referring to the paper reporting of LSU’s willingness to put up $100 million. Rabalais also explained this is why you’re hearing so many rumors of NFL coaches possibly interested in LSU’s head coaching job.
Rabalais” column also noted that the NewYork Daily reported on Sunday that “the top choice as next head coach for LSU alums is former passing game coordinator and current Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady.” Rabalais column appeared to imply that with Woodward throwing $100 million out there as a huge enticement, Woodward himself probably doesn’t know who the next head coach of LSU will be. Who might bite?
Jacob Hester noted this morning that such a long term commitment of $100 million by LSU would have to be a head coach that everyone in BR would have to approve of. And noted he doesn’t see hardly any NFL coaches that are successful in college, because players are treated totally different.

We haven’t heard ANY rumors of NFL coaches possibly interested. There was one hypothetical situation posed by a former NFL GM that was forcefully shut down.

Sure we have heard rumors.
Tomlin
Urban Meyer
Each were involved in rumors.

100 million is ridiculous. Its NFL players that don't get paid that, nonetheless a coach!

Brady might not even still be calling plays in a few weeks why the hell would he be on anyone’s list

Who’s we? Do you carry a mouse in your pocket?
Yes, there’s absolutely been rumors on various sports podcasts on YouTube, like Urban, Tomlin, Ruhle and Brady.

Do you get how ironically comparable Orgeron would be to Chizik if we hired Joe Brady
Fired HC that won Natty two years later and hire the OC that is really credited

We all know Brady’s hatred of the recruiting game. Everyone needs to move on.

I wonder how many LSU alums was The New York Daily referring to, and who were they, former LSU players currently in the NFL?

Not the statement. No rumors of NFL coaches "interested" in coming to LSU. Plenty of conjecture, but no reported rumors someone is interested.

There is no such person. Saban would be really close, but even he would have those that find stupid reasons to not like the hire.

Hell, I'll do the job for $1 million a year. I have never played or coached football but I can do a pretty decent cajun accent and I could put together a better binder than O could ever dream of plus a cool PowerPoint presentation if the need arises.

Rumor to me says there’s info backing it up somewhere or someone saying it’s possible. There was never any info or inference whatsoever that Mike Tomlin or Urban Meyer were interested in being HC at LSU.
