Only one top program in state.
further away from other powers.
Same fertile gulf coast recruiting ground.
Both pay well
Bama is obviously a well oiled machine right now, but I feel they are more susceptible to an avg hire really hurting them.

Check the records, bowl games, and championships and you should have your answer. I'm not sure who leads in those categories but it should be a decent tell

Obviously both are stepping stones but its clear bama is a higher step

He was able to build a dynasty at lsu and win multiple conference and national championships there. He was unable to do that at Alabama. So you make a good point
