Assuming Harbaugh leaves for NFL, which is the better job today - Michigan or Alabama?

Bama. Harbaugh is just a great coach. Bc they can’t that many 5* recruits in Ann Arbor

Michigan is not that good of a job. There aren’t that many advantages to being in the state of Michigan. Harbaugh is just a really good coach. They were irrelevant for a very long time before he got there and will return to that when he leaves.

It’s very close but Bama. Close because of the absolute war zone bama in conference wise. All I know is it’s gonna take a psycho to follow saban.

Honestly I think they are about equal
Saban made bama again
There are no guarantees that continues for sure

I think it’s Bama. Saban built a juggernaut. And unfortunately I think that program can sustain for years to come. I am not nearly as confident that UM can sustain without Harbaugh.
Major drawbacks on Bama job - (1) SEC competition and (2) being the man to replace Saban. I know Harbaugh has done great things but his tenure is much shorter. Replacing Saban will be different, especially in Tuscaloosa.

Bama but much closer than you think. Both programs were dysfunctional in the 90’s and early 2000’s. But, Bama hired Saban, Michigan hired Rich Rod. Alabama has a much deeper local recruiting pool, Michigan has historically been more national with their recruiting.

Counterpoint to that is he was at LSU for 5 years and we're still rolling along pretty nicely since. I think Bama fans would be happy to have a 2 decade stretch similar to LSU's since Saban left.
