I was pretty much asking the same thing all year. both TD passes against AU came out of it (3 man routes though). not saying go crazy with it, but I'd like to see it called more.

i get the feeling there are some issues with routes from everyone but Lafell and they simply don't feel like two WR routes will work. So they get WRs open by flooding the defense with 4 or 5 of them to compensate for sloppy route running

don't know for sure, just a feeling I get from time to time

Miles still saves Shep for the "everyone get confused pre-snap" play so we can kill any drive at the 40 yard line and he can explain on his coaches show why he doesn't let Shep get the ball or throw. Its for the greater good.

we only have three time outs to work with SFP

there is no need to have any shifts or any secondary personnel in a shep formation

line up in 1 or 2 formations with the same personnel and run the option

and run a wildcat

shep only needs a 4 play, playbook

1. zone-read
2. QB direct
3. zone-read PA
4. wildcat

The lack of O identity, poor QB development, and not enough yards and points has done GC in. He has WAY too much talent to struggle on offense.

That statement may be the only thing that the Cheerleaders, Complainawhiners and Realists can agree on........

attrition really hasn't affected the line this year

black, hebert, hitt, and barksdale were starting unless they died

I assume you mean as a QB. I agree with your list. But, I also want him at tailback for 3-4 plays per game.

All offensive(excluding D.J.)coaches were given raises and contract extensions.

The Assistant Coaches received contract extensions on their contracts that were approved by the Board of Supervisors in October 2009. The contracts were retroactive with a start date of January 1, 2009 – December 31, 2011 for Crowton and Porter and were January 1, 2009 – March 31, 2011 for Robinson and Studrawa.

How is it that Crowton can go from being the #1 coordinator in the country, two yrs ago, to being garbage?

Good question? You'd have to ask Crowton because its true.

My guess:

Poor QB development
Poor OL recruiting
Poor scheme

Bottom line: bad coaching

it's what he does. he gets predictable and he can't develop a QB.

You are really something else, LOL. And I thought I was sarcastic, but you've got me beat by a mile.

My guess is still that Crowton will be gone.

But EVERYONE realize, like i've said before, which is the one thing I can say I KNOW...Nothing is for sure yet.

Miles is exploring possible options, I think he would like a new OC, if it all works out then I think he'll get one, but its simply not a definite and I don't care who they are if they are saying one way or another its definite; its just simply not true.

If and when I found out for sure I'll let everyone know.

Contrary to popular belief, these things aren't instant decisions.

Doesn't Miles owe it to Crowton to make a decision? Either he wants to make a change or he doesn't. Where's the gray area?
