Be honest Tiger fans..If O had hired Bill O'Brien as OC before Saban did....

Would you have been elated or furious?
Personally, my impression of Bill isn't a good one. I would've been unimpressed to say the least. I think Nick made a mistake this time.

People trust Saban, so they don’t overreact.

Exactly. As an has earned his right to be an assertive HC. No one trusts Ed to actually lead a coordinator in the right direction.

The vast majority of "fans" on this site would've lost their shite if O hired Bill O'Brien. You would've seen the "another retread", "washed up old guy", etc.
Reality is our fans are stupid and don't know anything about hiring a coaching staff.

Nick Saban is very concerned with TigerProphets opinion. its not like the man has won titles at two schools that add up to like 7 so far.
