He's from Oklahoma, played and coached at Mizzou, and coached at Memphis, so he's got ties to a lot of the bordering areas which might help with recruiting. Unfortunately, other than Memphis, those aren't the most fertile recruiting grounds.

We've actually had pretty good luck getting good players out of the Tulsa area as well.
